What To Do If You Hate Your Job

What To Do If You Hate Your Job

Hi, guys. It's Nicole Coggan here, and today we're talking about what to do if you don't like your job. You have three options basically, and these are your only options. You can change it, you can accept it, or you can leave it. WATCH HERE I had to look at my notes for the last one, I had a total mental blank. So, let's talk about what I mean. You can accept it. So, let’s say that you're working in a dead-end job that you hate. You can accept that you are working in a dead-end job that you hate and just stop thinking about it. This is your life, that's what you're going to do forever. Okay. Most people won't choose that option, so your next option is to leave it. By leaving it, you can find another job. That would be the ‘leave it option’. I'm going to look for another job, I'm not going to work here anymore, problem solved.

Now, the last thing that you can do, and what many people will choose is you can change it. By changing it, you can look at things, like, what do I like about doing this job and try to increase the amount of times you do that during the day, or what don't I like about this job and try and reduce your exposure to that. Let's say you had the co-worker from hell, you could try and reduce your exposure to that co-worker by putting in place some boundaries, keeping your head down trying to stay away from them, not getting drawn into their arguments, etc.

So, changing the dynamic of your relationship with your co-worker to make work better for you. There are your only three options guys, you can accept it, you can change it, or you can leave it. Let me know in the comments below, or in our Facebook group what problem you have at the moment, and what you are going to choose. And if you want to ask for advice or feedback from other group participants, feel free. We're all here to help each other, the more interaction we have the more you'll get out of this group. Okay, I'm Nicole Coggan, and I'll catch you in a later video. Bye for now.
