July Resume Newsletter 2024

Updated: Jul 22

Hello,

Wow, I can’t believe we have passed the halfway mark for the year already. That’s incredible! I still have spots available this week so if you needed a resume refresh or if you know someone who needs a new resume, cover letter or government selection criteria, now is the time to book in.

In other news:

What I’m Reading: Confession, I’m actually reading about 4 different books at the moment. It depends on my mood. For fiction, it’s ‘Lady of the Rivers’ by Philippa Gregory. She makes history interesting! I love how she puts her own spin on things while weaving history through the stories.

What I’m Listening To: Shaboozey - A Bar Song (Tipsy)

I first heard this one play during my indoor netball game and had to ask what it was called so I could download it to my playlist. It’s a catchy little bop and I ****may have danced around my kitchen to it****.

What I’m Watching: I went with friends to see the new Twisters movie at the cinema and it didn’t disappoint. I really enjoyed the original so I was worried that it would let me down but it was amazing. Exactly what you want from a good old fashioned disaster movie.

What I’m working on: I have a few projects in the works at the moment. One is updating some of the older blog posts on the site with new content. In celebration of this, here’s a link to my first EVER blog post all the way back from 2014.

Photo of the Month: My friend suggested these AMAZING scratch off books for me. Sometimes, it’s hard to carve out quality time as a family, but this book has been amazing for us. Basically, you scratch off a random activity and then you have to do it as a family.  The last activity was to make an elephant, a face, and a cup out of clay BUT blindfolded. Safe to say I won’t be giving up resume writing to become an artist anytime soon!  If you want more information about the ‘Family Adventure Challenge’ books, you can find them here.

As 2024 continues to roll on, thanks so much for your continued support and remember – still some spaces left this week if you think it’s time for that resume update.

To your success

Nicole

PS: If you are an already existing customer and have a copy of a resume you had done through me previously, a refresh is only $79, regardless of how many new jobs, qualifications or changes you need. Book in now on 0439 160 982 .
